October 11th Working Fire
At approximately 12:35am this morning crews were dispatched to a reported working fire on Cheyenne Drive. Chief Bohny arrived on scene to find a 2.5 story wood frame heavily involved in fire and all residents evacuated the home. Engine 334 established a water supply at Dakota and Wichita and laid approximately 1000 feet of supply line. Ladder 342, Squad 332, Engine 335 and Rescue 3 arrived on scene shortly after and assisted with fire attack and overhaul. The fire was placed under control by 2:30am. Thanks to all of our mutual aid companies for their assistance. Our thoughts are with the family.
