The day started with an assist to Rockland Electric in the very early morning then....

At 1627 Communications reported a car fire on Rt 208 S and Summit Ave.  Chief Bohny, Assistant Chief Knubel, Engine 331 and Engine 332 responded.  PD and the Chiefs were unable to locate.  Patrol reported a disbled vehicle at Ewing Ave.  Chiefs arrived on location and reported the tire had blown out and smoked as the driver pulled over.  Engine 332 arrived on location for the report.

At 2115 Hours Communications dispatched the Volunteers for a Utility Emergency.  Chief Bohny, Ladder 342 (Lt. Dodd) and Engine 331 (Lt. Meyers) responded.  Crews found the valve burst on the water main into the home and water was now impinging on the utilities.  Crews reported the valve had been shut down and no further assistance was needed.
