At 0005 Hours Communications dispatched an Activated Carbon Monoxide Alarm on Algonquin Rd. Chief Bohny, Res3cue and Engine 331 responded. Crews checked the home and found no readings of CO. PSE&G responded in to investigate as well.
At 1322 Hours Communications dispatched an Activated Fire Alarm on Farmdale Rd. Chief Bohny, Ladder 342, Engine 331 and Engine 334 responded. Crews reported accidental activation caused by burnt cooking.
At 1435 Hours Communications dispatched an Activated Fire Alarm on Old Mill Rd. Chief Bohny, Assistant Chief Knubel, Ladder 342 (Lt. Dodd), Engine 331 (Lt. Meyers), Engine 335 and Engine 334 responded. Crews reported the home checked, no sign of smoke or fire.
At 1526 Hours Communications dispatched an Activated Fire Alarm on Oak Haven Ln. Chief Bohny, Assistant Chief Knubel, Ladder 342 (Lt. Dodd), Engine 331 (FF Pedrani), Engine 335 (FF T Fahy Sr.) and Engine 334 (FF Easterhoff). Crews checked the home and found no sign of smoke or fire.
At 1639 Hours Communications dispatched a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Chief Bohny, Assistant Chief Knubel, Res3cue (Lt. Dodd), Engine 331 (FF Easterhoff), Squad 332 (FF T Fahy Jr) and Engine 334 (FF Pedrani) responded. Crews found the vehicle drivers side into a tree with a heavey entrapment. Crews quickly went to work and stabalized the vehicle while others assisted with triage and began cutting. The roof was cut off and the spreaders were used with a ram to push the door off the patient. The patient was removed quickly and transported to Hackensack Hospital. Great Job done by all hands!
At 1747 Hours as Crews were returning from the crash, Communications reported an Activated Fire Alarm on Oak Haven Ln. Crews responded and checked the home. Command 3 reported no sign of smoke or fire and released all units.
After the busy and VERY hot day crews were in attendance at 1900 Hours for weekly drill in which 2 more calls were logged.....
At 2030 Hours Communications dispatched the Volunteers for smoke coming from the pump house on Shadow Ridge. Crews responded and Command reported the smoke was coming from a burnt out motor.
At 2126 Hours Communications reported a smell of smoke in the area on Deleware Ln. Crews responded and found the cause to be from a fire pit in the rear of a residence.
