Busy Saturday of the Holiday Weekend
Saturday, July 3, 2010

At 0037 Hours Communications dispatched an activated Carbon Monoxide Alarm.  Crews checked the home with negative results.  PSE&G was notified and responded to investigate.

At 0458 Hours Communications dispatched a mulch fire on Hillview Terrace.  Crews responded to find a large area of mulch charred.  Crews soaked the area and reported the fire was extinguished.

At 1031 Hours Communications dispatched a Motor Vehicle Crash with a vehicle rollover on Crystal Lake Terrace.  Cheif Bohny, Assistant Chief Knubel, Res3cue (Lt. Dodd), Engine 331 (Lt. Meyers), Engine 332 and Engine 334 (Capt. Kohan) responded.  Chief Bohny reported the driver had self exticated and the vehicle had been righted prior to FD's arrival.  Res3cue remained on location until the vehicle was removed.

At 1425 Hours Communications  reported a mulch fire on Old Mill Rd.  Chief Bohny, Engine 335 (Lt. Dodd), Engine 331 (Lt. Meyers) and Engine 332 (FF Fahy Jr) responded.  Command reported a minor fire and brought in Engine 335 for extinguishment and returned all other units.

At 1700 Hours Communications dispatched an Activated Fire Alarm on Franklin Lake Rd.  Crews responded and reported an exterior check of the home with no sign of smoke or fire.

At 1852 Hours Communications dispatched an Activated Fire Alarm on Navaho Trail Dr.  Crews responded an reported accidental activation caused by the homeowner grilling.

At 1958 Hours Communications dispatched a brush fire on Pulis Ave.  Crews responded to find the homeowner burning brush on his property.  Command the fire extinguished.  Command reported the homeowner was advised that open burning was no permitted and the matter was reffered to the Fire Prevention Bureau.
