At 1320 hours Communications dispatched the Volunteers to power lines down with wires sparking on Summit Ave.  Engine 335 (Lt. Meyers) and Engine 331 (FF Comitto) responded.  Crews checked the length of Summit Ave and the call was unfounded.

As Units were returning Communications advised that the caller called back and had given the wrong address.  Communications reported the call was on Old Mill Rd.  Units responded and found that  a delivery truck had backed into the driveway ripping the power lines from the home.  Crews gained access into the home as the exterior meter had burnt up and melted some of the siding.  Crews checked the home and found no extension.  Crews shut down the Power Main to the home as a precaution as well.  Rockland Electric was notified and responded.
